High Tech Campus Eindhoven is centrally situated in the Netherlands, in a region known for its dynamic business and technological activity. The way of life in the country and in the city of Eindhoven is modern, stable and inviting for international businesses looking for a convenient location in Europe.
The Netherlands is considered to be the gateway to Europe, and has an excellent road, rail and logistics infrastructure. Eindhoven is a modern city with a strong high-tech tradition and a drive for innovation. There are excellent cultural, commercial and living facilities in the city itself, and in the surrounding towns and villages. Belgium and Germany are close by, while France and cross-channel services to the UK are only a few hours away. The city has its own international airport and Schiphol Airport is within easy reach.
With the technical universities of Eindhoven, Enschede and Delft producing graduates in a myriad of relevant disciplines every year, highly educated personnel are easy to find. The area is also rich with other educational establishments and institutes. Many companies are located in the area (a total of 45,000, of whom 280 operate internationally), employing a total of around 330,000 people. There is a guaranteed pool of experienced and skilled personnel to draw on.
The Eindhoven area has a rich industrial past. Philips has been in the region for over a century, having established its first light bulb factory in the city center. This tradition is set to continue.

Relocation is smoother and more cost-effective – thus limiting initial investment.
A technology liaison officer who is familiar with all aspects of the processes supports companies moving to High Tech Campus Eindhoven. And once located, companies can participate in international research programs. Other services include business development support, shared facilities and equipment, and a training center.
