Offices for the A list
Constant investment means real value for money from Europolis Hungary
![]() City Gate |
Europolis entered Hungary in 1999 and opened a regional office in Budapest in 2004. The company was the first mover among institutional investors to offer top-quality office space to international clients. With present real estate investments of around €200 million, Europolis’ portfolio is one of the largest in Hungary. Europolis currently manages two “Class A” office buildings in Budapest, as well as two logistics parks.
All office buildings are built in the style of modern timeless architecture and offer everything a company needs to motivate employees and satisfy customers: modern technology, flexible design, air conditioning and supporting amenities. The City Gate office building is home to Nokia and IBM and, although located in the city centre, is set in peaceful surroundings. The Infopark Research Center is located close to the Technical University, an established location for research and development companies. Infopark accommodates Hewlett Packard and IBM. Due to the high demand for office space in this location, Europolis began construction of the IP West office buildings of which the first building was completed in 2006.
Due to the large amount of office buildings in Europolis’ portfolio and the company’s future expansion plans in the best locations, tenants can easily expand or move within the portfolio. Europolis is renowned for providing value for money, in addition to constant maintenance and investment in its buildings to keep them up to date. Moreover, Europolis follows up on its principle of maintaining a close relationship with its tenants by actively managing the properties through its own local asset management companies. Europolis is also very active in the logistics sector in Hungary. The Airport Business Park, situated near the Hungarian capital’s international airport, features approximately 65,000 m² of modern office and logistics space meeting Western European standards. The M1 Business Park is located in Páty to the west of Budapest. Completed in 2006, it enjoys excellent transport links with Budapest and (via the M1 motorway) Vienna.
Europolis — established in 1990 — has become one of the leading commercial real estate companies in the CEE region thanks to the full support in its strategy by its investors Investkredit Bank AG, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and DIFA Deutsche Immobilien Fonds AG.
Its core values include professionalism, transparency and a high standard of quality, guaranteeing tenant satisfaction at every level. The company has built up high-quality portfolios, as confirmed by numerous national and international prizes. At the end of 2005 the total value of the portfolios managed by Europolis amounted to approximately €1.2 billion and will increase to about €2 billion by 2007.
