The economic structure of Andalucia is based on the co-existence of traditional and new sectors. The most outstanding sectors at present are aviation, renewable energies, ICT, biotechnology, health sciences and environmental projects. Other sectors with great importance in the region are agro-industry, service industries (especially those connected with tourism) and the chemical industry.
The labour environment, ease of doing business and quality of life to be found in our region have been praised by such prestigious journals as FDI magazine, which ranked Andalucia second on the chart of recommended regions for future investment in 2004-2005.
